Edmund Burke once said that, “All that is required for evil to prosper is for good men to do nothing”.

True, but a more accurate description would be “All that is necessary for evil to prosper is for some good men to do nothing, while all the other good men waste valuable time chasing red herrings”.

Noam Chomsky once noted that the best way to repress a nation is by manufacturing dissent. These are the so called "opposition voices" in mainstream establishment.  This is classic divide and control. Eventually the free thinking public will recognise them as charlatans as well.  Although the internet is littered with controlled opposition promoting half truths and out right lies, there is more truth there, than there is be found in mainstream.  The difficulty is the sifting through the mountains of rubbish to find the gems.

The encouraging aspect of our current national and global woes, is that more people are taking responsiblity for the knowledge they seek.  If we are intelligent enough and honest enough we will eventually find the same answers.  With over 6 billion sovereigns on this Earth our strength is in our numbers. Their strength is in the information control that keeps us ignorant and divided. We are manipulated into fighting over our ethnicity at the expense of our humanity and divide ourselves into groups obsessed with looking for ways to make democracy work for us when it was never designed for that. All the while, evil prospers.
